What began as a launch of support for national youth training camps (ingando) quickly became a powerful “pre-All Women Together outreach,” as Apostle Mignonne Kabera of Noble Family Church and Women Foundation Ministries described the day’s initiative.
Speaking both as a church leader and as commissioner for good governance in JDAF Gasabo, she explained why the partners chose to act rather than simply send well wishes. Drawing from the example of the prophet Elisha, who purified water so a community could flourish, she declared:
“There are times we preach the word of God, yet we also go into the villages and communities. That person is the one who needs God dwelling in them; that person is the one who needs a better life.”
Guided by the principle of ‘faith in action’, the ministries and their partners distributed essential hygiene kits; soap, body oils, sanitary pads, and toilet paper across 15 sites in Gasabo District. Though the camps involved more than 1,800 girls, the outreach reached 2,000, ensuring every young woman could begin the programme with dignity and the basic supplies she needs.
“Supporting a girl child is no small matter,” Apotle Mignone emphasized. “She is a treasure to be protected. When she lacks necessities, vulnerability can lead her into danger. By meeting these needs, we help safeguard Rwanda’s future seeds.”
The outreach also served as a deliberate bridge to the larger vision ahead. From 11–15 August 2026, the free ‘All Women Together” conference will gather at BK Arena under the theme drawn from Scripture: ‘The Lord God gave the word; the women who proclaim the good news are a great company.’
Women from every province are especially invited, with sessions for men as well. Teachings will focus on thriving as a Christian in the workplace, growing spiritually while advancing personally, and living a balanced life in today’s world. Registration is required; no fees will be charged.
Gasabo district’s leadership welcomed the partnership. Mudaheranwa Regis, vice executive secretary, praised churches as: “Highly valuable partners who accomplish significant work.”
“Whether Christian or Muslim, we find common ground in fighting alcoholism and immorality.” He noted that “Noble Family Church will contribute nearly 10 million Rwandan francs on 11 August to support housing for Genocide survivors building on a previous gift of about 16 million for hygiene projects.” he added.
Through this pre-All Women Together outreach, Noble Family Church and Women Foundation Ministries have already turned belief into practical care protecting girls today while preparing the ground for a broader movement of empowered women tomorrow.
